the thing about being a pretty girl

If you're pretty, people will beg you to be in their film and video projects
AND they will bring you food while you sit in your bed
then pull up a stood and go over the script with you while you lay in bed, eat the food they brought, play sims and watch tv

everyone is always so nice to the actress because they mistakenly feel that acting is hard, or that she doesn't want to act as much as possible
when actually the opposite is true

maybe it's the fact that i only watch this show at 4am

I have to create an internet shrine to Trent from Daria
there just isn't a satisfactory one out there
Mike told me when I started watching Daria at either 2am or 4am, depending, on N that Trent was a prophet and I didn't believe him
but now I do
and I have for some time
I think he has a lot to teach us if we would just collect all his saying in one place, learn them and live by them
I don't mean his conversational junk or anything relating specifically to Daria, but the longer, silent bob-esque soliloquies, usually the last thing he says in the eps

like this gem
"Hey, the second set's just the stuff that's not good enough for the first. I wouldn't stay for it myself if I weren't in the band."

I mean, wow
think about it
are any of us really "in the band"?
and if not, why are we sticking around
(no, I'm not high or even that sleep deprived, I'm just asking you to get deep for a second here)

or this one from the same episode
"I'm always late. That's why I don't wear a watch. They depress me."
I mean come on people
that's genius
